Order process
Products are ordered online by transferring them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart via provided online payment service. All customer information will be treated in strict confidence. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the contact information requested during the order process is not used for any other purposes than for delivery information or if there is need to clarify something regarding the order. When ordering from the online store, the customer is required to read and agree to the current payment and shipping terms.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Payment methods
Payment-invoice in advance:
You will receive the payment information together with the order confirmation that is sent to your email. Your order will be confirmed and its processing will move forward when the prepayment is displayed successfully in Hygge Bygge's system. By providing information at checkout and clicking on the "Buy" button, you agree to the Hygge Bygge Terms and Conditions.
Klarna Checkout:
Through which you can pay by invoice, installment, card payment and the most common online bank services.
By providing information at checkout, the customer accepts the terms of Klarna AB (Klarna AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm). By clicking on the "Buy" button, you agree to the Hygge Bygge Terms and Conditions.
Pay Pal:
To transfer money through Paypal - You must register a Paypal account and link a credit card from which the money will be transferred.
By providing information at checkout, the customer accepts the terms of the Pay Pal payment service (PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal L-2449, Luxembourg). By clicking on the "Buy" button, you agree to the Hygge Bygge Terms and Conditions.
Order and payment confirmation
Once we have received your order, we will immediately send you an order confirmation email with all the details of the order. The customer should always check the content of the order confirmation. If he/she has any questions or if he/she notices a mistake, we hope that he/she will contact us immediately at info@hyggebygge.com to resolve the issue. We advise you to keep your order confirmation safe in case you'll need to contact our customer service later, as the order number on it will speed things up. The contents of the package should also be checked to ensure that its contents are the same as those mentioned in the order confirmation.
Shipping methods and costs
Shipping costs include postage and packaging. We provide an estimate of shipping costs in the shopping cart based on the primary shipping method used. You can see the exact shipping costs when the desired payment and delivery methods are selected for your order. Parcels are sent by post and delivered to a pick-up point, parcel terminal (SmartPost) or post-office of your choice.

Pick up from company premises / Pirkkala
You will receive an email when your order is available for pickup. The order will be held at Hygge Bygge's premises for 30 days, after which the order will be deemed canceled unless a change of delivery time has been specifically agreed with the customer.
NOTE! When you collect a prepaid order, you must always have a proof of identity with you. An identity card is required for your security so you can be sure that no one else is picking up your paid order.
Backorders
Hygge Bygge does not have a large storage space, which means that there isn't many ready-made blankets available. This concerns all blanket sizes, in particular size M and L -blankets, which are mainly handled as backorders. When your order arrives, Hygge Bygge will order the merinowool from a wool supplier (UK) and after receiving it, will handmake the blanket. The order will be sent to the post office immediately upon completion so that you will receive it as soon as possible. However, the delivery time is longer than stocked products, about 2-3 weeks.
Delivery time
Our most common delivery times in Finland vary depending on the order and delivery method. In stock items will be shipped as quickly as possible, generally within 1-3 days from order confirmation. However, most products are made upon receiving the order and are therefore ready for shipment in about 14 to 21 days, or possibly sooner. Exceptions to the delivery time will be announced separately by Hygge Bygge (delays etc.)
We are not responsible for any delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect damage caused by the delays. The webshop informs all possible anomalies concering delivery times on its website.
Return Policy
All of our products are handmade, so there may be slight differences between the product images and the actual product. All products undergo strict quality control, so no major differences or discrepancies between the products should be noticeable. Note that blankets are hand-knitted from 100% very delicate and non-spun merino wool, so pilling and balling of the product is common. Please be aware that pilling is not a defect, it is merely a by product of using 100% unspun merino wool. Over time, with use, the merinofibers will eventually pill less leaving you with a beautifully felted merino wool blanket.
All of our products have a 14 day return policy starting from when receiving the package. If you are not satisfied with the product and would like to return it, please contact us at info@hyggebygge.com. The returned product must always be completely unused and carefully packaged for shipment in its original packaging. The refund (product(s) price and original shipping costs) needs to be handled with Klarna Checkout according to the payment method selected. The return shipping fee is to be paid by the customer.
Possible defective / flawed products Hygge Bygge will replace with a new equivalent product to the customer, with the replacement shipping fee paid by Hygge Bygge.
Lost or damaged product(s)
If the product is lost or damaged during shipment or otherwise does not correspond to your order, you must send us a written report describing the defect within 14 days to info@hyggebygge.com or by calling the contact number listed in contact information. If the package is clearly damaged during transportation, you must immediately leave a complaint to the logistics company that supplied the package.
